๐Ÿฑ Cat Feed

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This page explains what information Cat Feed ("the Service") collects, why, and who it's shared with.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account info โ€” your name, email address, and profile photo, from whichever sign-in method you use (Google, Telegram, or an Ethereum wallet address if you sign in with a wallet).
  • Feeding and payment history โ€” when you fed the cats and how many portions you bought, including, for crypto payments, the public transaction hash and wallet address.
  • Language preference โ€” whether you've chosen English or Russian, tied to your account.
  • Cat photos โ€” uploaded to the cat catalog by the project's admin, not by regular users.

2. How We Use It

To run your account, process feeding commands, match payments to your account, remember your language preference, and keep the Service secure and working.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties, each with their own privacy practices:

  • Google โ€” sign-in.
  • Telegram โ€” sign-in via a bot.
  • Cloudinary โ€” stores cat photos.
  • MongoDB Atlas โ€” stores account and application data.
  • Vercel โ€” hosts the Service and its server logs.
  • Alchemy โ€” detects incoming crypto payments on the Polygon network.
  • YouTube โ€” provides the embedded live video; Google's own cookie and privacy practices apply to that embed.
  • WalletConnect / RainbowKit โ€” used to connect an Ethereum wallet.

4. Blockchain Transparency

If you pay in cryptocurrency, your wallet address and the transaction itself are recorded permanently and publicly on the Polygon blockchain โ€” that's true of any blockchain payment, independent of this Service, and we can't remove or hide it.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small cookie to remember your language preference when you're not signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies of our own; the embedded YouTube player may set its own per Google's policies.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below).

7. Your Rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by contacting us (see below). We don't sell your personal data to anyone.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time; continued use of the Service means you accept the current version.

10. Contact

For any privacy questions or a data deletion request, reach out through the sign-in page's contact options, or to the project owner directly.
